Hello, it’s me!
Oh man, I never know how to describe myself on “about pages”..
The first thing off the top of my head is that I am a busy body.. and if I am not binge watching crime/reality shows, then you will see me plugging away doing renovation projects on the house, being outside with my family, friends, or… chickens :) I also just love to check things off my to do list - Anyone else a Monica?
Although I thrive in busier environments and being around my people, I do crave the need to recharge. Which is why hiding in my room editing for hours is my jam haha, so I find photography gives me that perfect balance!
I really do love my job.. I love working with people and hearing their stories. Before photography, I was a Social Worker (hence my passion for people), and I used photography to pay off my student loans. Little did I know that after 3 years of photography my side gig would change in 2013, when I made the decision to pursue my love for photos fulltime. Since then I have enjoyed being able to capture love stories, family stories, you name it..
all while juggling our two adorably exhausting boys, our Mastiff/Boxer Callie, and 8 chickens with my beyond supportive hubby, Sam :)
