Christine and I are similar in many ways, but I would have to say her taste in style + how organized she was really stood out. From the moment I arrived in the morning for getting ready photos, she had everything laid out for me and was beyond accommodating with anything I needed to create the images. Chris eventually joined us towards the end, so they could do a special first look before heading to Fish Creek Park for formals. I loved all the personal touches - including a lovely white swing that sat in her parents backyard from THEIR own wedding. Beyond sentimental - just loved this day!

First time shooting at Blue Devil Golf Course and I must say, I absolutely love the outdoor ceremony backdrop. It is a bit mythical greek style with the archways and the rolling hills behind transport you to another place beyond Calgary. It was definitely a cooler and windy ceremony, but SO worth it for the view.

I took these two out for another mini shoot during the reception. Although there was no golden hour with the rolling clouds, I loved how the wind worked with her veil and gave us a mix of backdrop.

Reception took place inside the Blue Devil Golf Course - loved the warmth it gave and the beautiful lights that dangled in the middle. Had a blast hearing the lovely speeches and how they incorporated their cultures into the decor + dances! What a way to celebrate!!
